Jean Ann Heyen, 80, of Springfield, died at 3:10 pm, Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Heritage Health Hospice. She was born January 3, 1937 in Litchfield to Lester Lee and Edith Cerolla Kranich. She married Harold M. Heyen on July 15, 1955 and he preceded her in death on March 22, 1993.
Survivors include one daughter, Jodi Heyen of Springfield, two sons, Dennis and Michael Heyen both of Springfield; one granddaughter, Megan Heyen of Chatham; one step grandson, Jason (Daisy) Cody of Belleville; two great grandchildren, Malia and Nolan; two step great grandchildren, Isaac and Samuel; one brother, Jim (JoAnn) Kranich of Hillsboro and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and one son, Danny.
Jean was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker and was a reading helper at Concordia School. She served as Secretary at Lutheran High School from 1983 – 2000 and was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals Fan.
Visitation: 4 – 7 pm, Monday, November 6, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield. An additional visitation will be held from 10-11 am Tuesday, Nov. 7 at Concordia Lutheran Church.
Funeral Service: 11 am, Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Concordia Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Concordia School or Lutheran High School.
The family requests guests to wear Cardinals attire for the visitation.

Mike and family I am so sorry for your loss. She had a wonderful life and will be missed. So sorry not to make it on Tuesday but have a doctor's appointment. Prayers for the whole family.
