Janet Elaine Friedrich, 73, of Williamsville, died at 4:08 pm, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born January 28, 1943 in Springfield, to Richard and Nellie Wood. She married Donald R. Friedrich on August 24, 1962 and he preceded her in death on September 21, 2006.
She is survived by three children, Mark (DD) Friedrich of Springfield, Jennifer (Mike) McIntyre of Riverton and Tracey (Scott) Peratt of Mt Pulaski; six grandchildren, Kayla (Scott) Linnemann, Katie & Levi Friedrich, Tyler (Kayla) Slater, Tori (Justin) Castelli and Makinzie McIntyre; two sisters, Wanda Canady of Plainfield and Sharon Dyer of Springfield; one brother Gerald Wood of Cape Girardeau, MO and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one grandson Cruz Peratt.
Janet was a lifelong resident of Williamsville and was a homemaker.
Graveside Service: 12:30 pm, Friday, June 24, 2016 at Walnut Hill Cemetery with Reverend Melissa Ebken officiating.

I miss you momma. I Waite for you call everyday or I try to call you. The emptiness is unbearable. When Mark and I and your grandkids were by your grave saying goodbye it was like a dream I couldn't awake from. But your with dad now and that helps me a bit. Just know I love you and miss you dearly. Tell dad I love him and miss him too.
