Jack L. Swartwood, 59, of Springfield, died at 3:15 am, Monday, December 17, 2012 at his residence. He was born December 25, 1952 in National City, CA to Orvel J. and LaVonne L. Miller Swartwood. He married Ada M. Gallaher on June 22, 1992 and she survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Miranda Nicole Swartwood of Holyoke, CO, Bethany Shannon Swartwood of Denver, CO and Amanda Rose Bagwell of Springfield; two sons, Brady (Aimee) Johnson of Golden, CO and Michael Bagwell of Springfield; his mother, LaVonne Adams of Denver, CO; fourteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; four sisters, Ginger (Ron) Armstrong of Ankeny, IA, Debra (Tom) Molkenbur of St. Charles, MO, Kim (Del) Evans of Denver, CO and Shirley (Robert) Steels of Santa Maria, CA; two brothers, Mike (Kristi) Norris of Denver CO and John Trembley of Scottsdale, AZ and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
His father; one son, Christopher Swartwood; one son-in-law, Scott Higgs and one nephew, Jack Gallaher preceded him in death.
Jack enjoyed riding motorcycles, remodeling and spending time with his family. He worked at Tee Jet Manufacturing in the Shipping and Receiving Department and also for the State Journal Register
