Imogene “Jean” Louise Sudduth, 78, of Springfield, died at 8:45 pm, Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born January 13, 1934 in Franklin, IL to Charles and Genevieve Snow Tannahill. She married William T. Sudduth on May 29, 1957 and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2001. Also preceding her in death are her parents, two brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter, Amy Orr.
Survivors include one daughter, Pamela (Darrel) Stewart of Greenview, one son, John (companion, Robin Earl) Sudduth of Springfield, four grandchildren Andrew Stewart, William Sudduth II, Mindy Sudduth and Brandi Good all of Springfield, three great-grandchildren, J.J Orr, Micheal Good, and Kayden Green, and three sisters, Lola Reed of Waverly, Lillie (Kenneth) Gillis of Roodhouse, and Patricia (Clete) Zoll of Riverton and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Imogene was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary #437, a member of the Sangamo Surf Club, and enjoyed playing cards.
Visitation: 5-7 pm, Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 10 am, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Staab Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Gennicks officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
