Hilda M. Micheletti, 99, of Bloomingdale, IL formerly of Springfield died at Sunrise Assisted Living on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. She was born September 30, 1917 in Springfield to Fortunato and Pasqua Favero. She was one of eleven children, 6 brothers and four sisters. She married Dolcedo J. Micheletti on January 27, 1940 and he preceded her in death on January 5, 1981. Also preceding her in death was a son, Bill Micheletti.
Surviving are two sons, Frank (Sandy) Micheletti of Santa Ana, CA and Thomas Micheletti of Freehold, NJ; a daughter, Nancy (Richard) Elkin of Schaumburg, IL; and a daughter-in-law, Carol Micheletti of Henderson, NV; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; one brother, Renato (Rita) Favero of Springfield; many nieces and nephews and Baxter, her feline companion.
Hilda was a member of St. Cabrini Church for 38 years. She retired from the Illinois Department of Revenue.
Visitation: 9 – 10:45 am, Friday, February 17, 2017 at St. Cabrini Church.
Funeral Mass: 11 am, Friday, February 17, 2017 at St. Cabrini Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
