Harry Lee Buckman, 87, of New Berlin, died at 2:35 a.m., Monday, March 19, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born January 21, 1925 in Springfield, to Walter C. and Ruth L. Nall Buckman. Harry was the second to the youngest of 13 siblings. He married Judy A. Heyen on April 10, 1948.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; two daughters, Debra S. (Terry) Richardson of New Berlin and Denise L. (Don) Gayman of Sherman; one son, David L. (Judy) Buckman of Girard; five granddaughters, Jelene (Ray), Jenell (Mike), Jill, Stephanie (Nick) and Heather (Adam); four great granddaughters, Brittany, Haley, Paige and Lillian; five great grandsons, Brandon, Gabriel, Benjamin, William and Zachary; one sister, Betty Kern of Pleasant Plains and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and four sisters.
Harry was an outdoorsman who enjoyed gardening and working in his orchard. He also enjoyed goose hunting.
He retired after 31 years from Fiat Allis in January of 1983. He and his wife owned and operated Buckman Orchard for 20 years.

Funeral Service: 11 am, Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Staab Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Paulson officiating. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery at Farmingdale.
