Harold Lee Sheppard

Harold Lee Sheppard, 93, has returned home to the Lord, September 28, 2018 at Rushville Nursing Home. He was born August 1, 1925 in Litchfield, IL to Earl and Elizabeth (Kirbach) Sheppard. He married Helen Ann Buckus and she preceded him in death.

He is survived by two loving sisters, Wanda Bennett of Havana and JoAnn Camille of Rochester and Colorado; two nephews, Gary Camille and Brian Bennett; and several nieces and cousins.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

Harold served proudly for five years in the United States Army in the 81st division in Germany under General Patton during World War II.

He retired from Posten Brick as a laborer after 17 years of service and also worked at Anderson Concrete for nine years.

Harold and Helen moved to Missouri where he built a large home on the Lake of the Ozarks, for which he was very proud. His hobbies included fishing and cars. He was a member of St. Jude Church in Rochester.

Visitation: 9:00 – 10:00 am, Monday, October 8, 2018 at St. Jude Church in Rochester.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 am, Monday, October 8, 2018 at St. Jude Church in Rochester with
Reverend Brian Alford officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Buckhart.
