Gerald (Jerry)Lee Harmon passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at his residence. He was born June 2, 1970 in Springfield, Illinois to Billy and Donna Harmon, Sr. He was a member of Laborer’s Union #477. He enjoyed fishing, family and friends.
He is survived by 1 daughter Amanda Harmon, parents Billy and Donna Harmon, 1 sister Monica Harmon, 1 brother Billy Harmon, Jr .,and grandfather Pete Peterson, several aunts and uncles, 1 niece Taylor Harmon and several cousins all of Springfield.
His grandmother Dorothy Peters, grandparents Robert and Mary Elizabeth Smith and 1 cousin Dianna Carter preceded him in death.
Mr. Harmon was a lifelong resident of Springfield and was employed by Laborer’s Local #477 for several years.
Visitation will be held from 10- 11 am, Monday, October 13, 2008 at Staab Funeral Home with a funeral service at 11 am. Pastor Clint Cook officiating with burial in Roselawn Memorial Park.
