Garlin Ray Grider, 94, of New Berlin, died at 4:45 pm, Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born October 26, 1921 in Russell Springs, KY to Loren and Stella Grider. He married Sarah A. Baskett in 1944 and she preceded him in death on March 17, 1992.
Garlin was a diehard Cub fan and enjoyed going antiquing and to auctions. He was a resident of Curran for 71 years and retired from Lincoln Land Community College as a groundskeeper for over 20 years. He previously worked for Sikking.
