Freda I. Vosburgh

Freda I. Vosburgh, 89, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born July 10, 1927 in Effingham County, IL to Arthur and Elsie Ohnesorge Rentfro. She married Ira O. Vosburgh on February 21, 1969 and he preceded her in death on August 29, 1975.

Also preceding her in death are her parents and two sisters, Nadine Cisna and Florence Durre.

Surviving Freda are several nieces and nephews including, Todd (Susie) Cisna, John (Vicki) Durre and Paulette (Larry) Ortman.

Freda retired from the Department of Corrections and was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.

Memorial Gathering: 9-11 am, Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.

Memorial Service: 11:00 am, Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Joshua Traxel officiating.

Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
