Evelyn Irene Nelson

Evelyn Irene Nelson, 79, of Springfield died at 5:57 am, Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Mosaic of Springfield. She was born on March 23, 1937 in Minneapolis, MN to Paul and Ona West Bloomquist. She married Everett Nelson and he preceded her in death in 2010. She is also preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include one daughter, Paula Rae (Jeff) Lindner MD of Marion, IL; one son, Daniel (Erika) Nelson of Rochester; seven grandchildren, Andrea Markway, Kristofor Markway, Danielle Nelson, Blaine Markway, Dayne Nelson, Adriel Markway and Hannah Guymon and one sister, Darlene Rask of Pekin.
Evelyn was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Macomb and also First Church of the Nazarene in Springfield. She retired as the Chief Deputy Circuit Clerk in McDonough County, after many years of service.
Visitation: 10 – 11 am, Monday, February 13, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home, Springfield.

Funeral Service: 11 am, Monday, February 13, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home, Springfield with Reverend Judy Davenport officiating.
