Elina Johanna Suviolahti-Tejani 43, of Springfield, died at 2:50 am, Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born October 10, 1974 in Lapeenranta, Finland to Matti and Sirkka Suviolahti. She married Riaz Tejani on June 11, 2010, and he survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Aina; son, Milo; parents Matti and Sirkka Suviolahti; one sister, Anna and one brother Hannu.
Elina was a Research Scientist. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, surfing and playing with her children.
Visitation: 1:00 – 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.
Funeral Service: 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hollywood Hills, CA at a later date.

My heart goes out to everyone who moved Elina. She was a wonderful friend and an inspiration. She shared her knowledge of gardening with my classes and me. I enjoyed learning how to make pull a bread. Milo's eyes lit up with joy and love as they showed the Lincoln Room how to make this delicious bread.
