Eileen Pieper, 94, of Springfield, died at 11:14 am, on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at her home. She was born on May 6, 1922 in Chilton, WI to Nicholas and Veronica (Rank) Lesselyoung. She married James F. Pieper in 1946 and he preceded her in death in 2002.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Eric J. Pieper in 2012, Aaron R. Pieper in 2010, and one brother, Nicholas Lesselyoung.
She is survived by one daughter, Gretchen E. (Gary) Leming, eight grandchildren: Kimberly, Jennifer, Laura, Breann, Ron, Eric, Jamie and Jeremy; twenty great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Eileen was a Claim Manager Secretary with AETNA Life & Casualty for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and St. Joseph’s Church Ladies Guild. She was truly a faithful, loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Visitation: 9 – 10 am, Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Church.
Funeral Mass: 10 am, Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Church with Reverend Steven Janoski officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
