Edith G. Grant

Edith G. Grant, 76, of Springfield, died at 11:10 pm, Thursday, September 8, 2016 at her residence. She was born February 7, 1940 in Greeley, CO to John and Edith Daum.

Surviving are her husband David of Springfield; two sons, Troy (Lynette) Grant of Pawnee and Morgan (Shauna Schwader) Grant of East Peoria; five grandchildren, Cody (Jennifer) Grant, Dylan (Autumn) Grant, Brittany (Brent Wilcoxson) Grant, Jordan Grant and Craig Schwader and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding her in death are her parents, one daughter Linda Grant and twelve siblings.

A resident of Springfield for over 50 years, she retired from Clinical Radiologist and had previously worked for Land of Lincoln Bank. She attended St. Aloysius Church and St. Patrick’s Church. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of Letter Carriers and enjoyed playing Bunco, reading and crocheting.

Visitation: 11 am – 12:30 pm Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Staab Funeral Home-Springfield.

Funeral Service: 12:30 pm Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Staab Funeral Home-Springfield with Reverend Braden Maher officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
