Dorothy A. Nadasdy, 80, of Springfield, died on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Bridge Care Suites. She was born November 7, 1940, in Springfield, the daughter of George and Barbara Nadasdy.

She was preceded in death by her parents;  three sisters, Anne VonBehren, Barbara Wysocki and Mary Fran Nadasdy; and one brother George P. Nadasdy.

Survivors include one niece, Kathleen Murphy of Park Forest; two nephews, David Wysocki of Bloomington and Timothy VonBehren of Stockton, CA; one great-nephew, Michael (Carrie) Wysocki; and several great-nieces and nephews, as well as several very special friends.

Dorothy went to work at the Illinois General Assembly Legislative Council. She served as administrative assistant in the Office of the President of the 1970 Illinois Constitutional Convention. Dorothy retired as a senior research associate and administrator in the Legislative Research unit in 1992.

Cremation will be accorded by Staab Funeral Home – Springfield, with a private burial at Calvary Cemetery.

Remembrances may be made to St. Agnes Grade School, 245 N. Amos Ave., Springfield, IL  62702; Springfield Catholic Charities, 120 S. 11th Street, Springfield, IL  62703 or an organization of your choice.
