SPRINGFIELD, IL- Dolores M. Plummer, 86, of Springfield died at 12:03 pm, Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on September 17, 1931 in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Loretta (McCallum) Schmertmann.
Survivors include one son, David Plummer; grandchildren; great grandchildren and one daughter-in-law, Debora Plummer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Plummer; and one brother, Don Schmertmann.
Dolores was a resident of Springfield for most of her life. She worked for St. John’s Hospital in the mail room before retiring.
Visitation: 10-11 am, Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Staab Funeral Home-Springfield.
Funeral Service: 11 am, Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Staab Funeral Home-Springfield. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
