Dalton James Gibson

March 12, 1994 - June 17, 2017

Dalton James Gibson, 23, of Chatham, died at 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 17, 2017 at St. John’s Hospital. He was born March 12, 1994 in Springfield, to Mark and Dawn Richardson Gibson.

Survivors include his father, Mark (Terry) Gibson of Pawnee; mother, Dawn (Joseph) Bruce of Chatham; one sister, Amanda Gibson; three step-sisters, Ashley (Jeff) Daberkow, Tiffany Bruce and Alyssa Cody; three step-brothers, Dylan Cody, Kyle and Chad Boyd; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Linda Richardson and Francis N. and Alice Gibson, Sr.

Dalton was a 2013 graduate of Glenwood High School and had been working in fabrication at Bunn-0-Matic for two months. He enjoyed the outdoors and playing games on his computer with his friends. His friends were his life.

Visitation: 9 – 11 am, Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Service: 11 am, Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Petersburg.
