Cinda Kay Sponsky
SPRINGFIELD – Cinda Kay Sponsky, 57, of Springfield, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at her residence.
She was born August 13, 1949 in Pana, IL, the daughter of William and May Fleming Stepping. Her parents preceded her in death.
Ms. Sponsky worked for the Illinois Department of Agriculture, retiring from the Data Processing Department. She was of the Baptist faith and was an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. She enjoyed family and friends and playing games with and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Survivors: three sisters, Linda (husband, Gerald) Burris of Bradenton, FL, Brinda (husband, Bill) Prather of Belleville, and Kathy (husband, Paul) Cragoe of Springfield; one aunt; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity.
A memorial gathering will be held 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, Saturday, July 21, 2007. Memorial Service: 12:00 noon, Saturday, July 21, 2007, Reverend Jack Swank officiating. Private burial will be at Mound Cemetery near Pana at a later date. Staab Funeral Home of Service.
