Chester E. Lovell, Jr., 65, of Auburn died at 2:53 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at his home. He was born on April 14, 1947 in East St. Louis, IL to Chester E. and Nora Suarez Lovell, Sr. and they preceded him in death. He married Patricia Bartley on December 17, 1999 and she survives.
He is also survived by one daughter: Jill (fiancé T.J. Walker) Lovell of Pawnee, one son: Brett Lovell of Pawnee, two grandchildren: Madysen Blanton and Grant Lovell Walker; step mother: June Lovell of Troy, IL and two dogs: Phoebe and Zoe.
Chester was a member of Boilermakers Local 363. He was a Green Bay Packers fan and had volunteered at the Animal Protective League and Catholic Charities. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and working in the yard. He was a resident of Pawnee most of his life and most recently Auburn.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m., Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Staab Funeral Home.
Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 6, 2012 at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee with Vaughn Beeman officiating.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
