Charlee Elizabeth Walton, 6, of Springfield, passed away at 5:33 am, Friday, January 19, 2018 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born on March 10, 2011 in Springfield to Chad E. and Chelsea Elizabeth (Marshall) Walton.
Survivors include parents, Chad and Chelsea Walton of Springfield; one sister, Channing Walton; four grandparents, Lori Walton of Springfield, Brad E. Walton of Pawnee, Sandy (David) Colborn of Springfield, and Steve Marshall of Springfield; grandparents, Charles (Marlene) Neal of Riverton and Pat Marshall of Springfield; three aunts, Lindsey (Mike) Capitano of Springfield, Jennifer Truitt of Decatur and Nikki Colborn of Springfield; three uncles, Tony Baker, and Rob Colborn both of Springfield, and Brad E. Walton II of Decatur; one great uncle, Scott Crawford of Springfield; one great aunt, Doreen Hilbert of Taylorville; and several cousins, and the “bestest” of friends.
She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Marcia Crawford, Charles (Jean) Walton, Wayne Marshall, and Carol Colborn; great aunt, Pam McClain. great-great grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Herman Melhorn
Memorial Gathering: 1-4 pm, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Staab Funeral Home-Springfield.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to CEFCU credit union care of “Charlee Walton” at any of their locations. The funds will be used for remembrance projects on her behalf.
