Carol Jean Angeles

Carol Jean Angeles, 73, of Springfield, died at 10:38 pm Monday, October 28, 2013, at St. John’s Hospital. She was born May 30, 1940 in Knifley, KY to Russell and Ruby Schroeder. Her parents preceded her in death. She married Louis Leroy Angeles and he survives.

Also surviving is her cousin, Marshall Smith of Columbia, KY, several nieces, nephews and cousins and 11 Angeles family relations.

Carol was a resident of Springfield all of her life. She retired from Franklin Life Insurance Company after 34 years of service.

Visitation: 11 am – 1 pm, Friday, November 1, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home, 1109 S. 5th Street Springfield, IL 62703.

Funeral Service: 1pm, Friday, November 1, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home with Reverend Shaughnessy Small, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
