Bruce Duane Beazly, 51, of Springfield, died at 9:46 am, Friday, September 9, 2016 at St. John’s Hospital. He was born August 12, 1965, in Champaign, to Darrell Dean and Carol Elaine Trimble Beazly.
He is survived by his mother, Carol Elaine Beazly of Mansfield, IL; one brother, Randel (Simone) Beazly of Monticello, IL; several aunts and uncles; two nephews; several cousins including Tim Whitney of Mansfield, IL. He is survived by special friend, Melissa Smith of Chatham.
He was preceded in death by his father in July of 2016.
Bruce was a graduate of the University of Illinois Electrical Engineering. He loved to race bikes and ski.
He worked for the EPA for over ten years and also was employed with the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety for 10 years.
Memorial Gathering: 5-7 pm, Monday, September 12, 2016 at Staab Funeral Home in Springfield.
A graveside service will be held at Mansfield Cemetery at a later date.
