Brian Michael Bahlow passed away at 5:20 AM, on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center, following a serious injury.
Brian was born March 8, 1969 in Springfield, IL. He was a Williamsville High School graduate and a veteran of the US Navy. He worked for the State of Illinois for nearly 21 years. He married his soulmate, Shelly Schuerman, on July 22, 2006.
To Brian, family was everything. He had an especially close bond with his parents, Sandi and Randy Bahlow. Brian and his wife Shelly were the perfect match and were very much in love. Brian was a kind person and he loved all animals. He adored his little dog, Dutch. Brian enjoyed many hobbies, including video gaming, RC hobbies and taking care of his Camaro.
Brian was preceded in death by his father, Randy Bahlow, and grandparents Frank and Velma Herr and Howard and Betty Bahlow.
Brian is survived by his wife, Shelly Bahlow of Springfield, mother, Sandi Bahlow of Springfield, his best little buddy, Dutch, and three nephews and one niece. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins whom Brian loved very much.
Memorial Gathering: 3 – 6 pm, Friday, January 20, 2016, at Staab Funeral Home-Springfield.

My deepest sympathies to Brian's family. I had never met him although he must have been a special person for Shelly to have picked him.
