Bonnie was president of the Lincoln Land Community College Academy of ifelongearning in 1998. On behalf of the Academy, for which I am the staff liaison, our condolences to her family and friends. I only met Bonnie once but had some delightful phone conversations with her, discovering that she had attended Blackburn College for two years (where I previously worked), that she loved bluegrass music and cats (she recommended a bluegrass group for a 2009 ALL event), and that she was an energetic and sweet person who was proud to be a leader in the pursuit of lifelong learning. May she rest in peace.
