VIRGINIA – Bonnie Lee Wyzard, 77, of Virginia died at 2:35 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at Walker Nursing Home in Virginia.
She was born Dec. 4, 1931, in Riverton, the daughter of Albert and Julia King Brown. She was first married to Joseph H. Moore. She later married John Wyzard in 1965; he preceded her in death on April 24, 2006.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Shelia Snodgrass; a brother, Gordon Brown; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
She is survived by her children, Guylia (husband, Kim) Bunger of Riverton, Carol (husband, Glen) Ball of Delavan, Terri (husband, Greg) Benanti of Louisville, Kelly (wife, Darla) Moore of Riverton, Jim (Lisa) Wyzard of Williamsville, John Wyzard of Springfield, Mary Pressler of Springfield, and Tony Wyzard of Williamsville; a brother, Barry Brown of Riverton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bonnie was a lifelong resident of the Springfield area. She was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed caring for the elderly and flower arranging.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2009, at Staab Funeral Home, with the Rev. Christopher House officiating. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
