Beverly Mae Landreth, 76, of Springfield died at 10:33 a.m., Monday, December 21, 2015 at Hillsboro Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 15, 1939 in Springfield to Edward P. and Lula Mae Kuhn Landreth. Her parents, a son, Jefferey Mattsson and a brother, James Edward Landreth preceded her in death.
Surviving are a sister, Shirley J. Landreth, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary L. Landreth, several nephews and nieces and best friend and former husband, Mike Harris, who loyally assisted her through her long illness.
Beverly owned Bev’s Corral, working there Monday through Saturday for 37 years. She was a wonderful animal advocate feeding all wild life around her home and any strays dropped off near her property. She cherished her Pomeranian “Elvis”.
She owned and showed several Arabian Western horses, garnering several blue ribbons.
Beverly enjoyed her friends at her establishment, had an undeniable work ethic, she loved her home and pets, game shows on TV and pampering her pets and birds.
A private family service will be held.
