Beverly J. Katzmarek

Beverly J. Katzmarek, 88, of Girard died at 8:30 am, Monday, May 15, 2017 at her home. She was born February 21, 1929 in Tucson, AZ to Marion Edward and Dorothy Irene Randolph Reed. She married Robert Katzmarek, Jr. on January 24, 1976 and he preceded her in death on August 24, 2005.

Survivors include one daughter Linda D. (Jorge) Soto of Girard; three grandchildren, Beth (Brett) Ulrici, Matthew (Audra) Hughes and Mark (Emily) Hughes and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and two brothers, Scott Reed and Stanley Reed.

Beverly was a member of Nilwood Baptist Church. She retired from Sherman’s Department Store in Hillsboro and was an avid Homemaker and Gardener.

Memorial Gathering: 2-2:30 pm Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Memorial Service: 2:30 pm, Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield, with Pastor Harry Kirk officiating.

Burial will be at Delaware Cemetery, in Shannon County, MO at a later date.
