Bette J. Hickman, 92, of Springfield, died at 10:22 pm, Friday, August 4, 2017 at her home. She was born on January 22, 1925, in Springfield, to Malon Francis and Stella (Boroweic) Moore. She married Raymond Walter Hickman in 1947 and he preceded her in death on January 9, 2014.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald J. Hickman of Sherman, Raymond Walter (Mona) Hickman of Springfield, and Lyle F. (Tracy) Hickman of Riverton; nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Frank Sefick; and one brother, Malon “John” Moore Jr.
Bette resided in Springfield all of her life as a homemaker.
Graveside Service: 12 pm, Friday, August 11, 2017 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Reverend Braden Maher officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.

My sincere condolences to Mrs. Hickman's loved ones, and I hope that these promises from God's Word will give them true solace. Jehovah God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit. And he will wipe away the tears from all faces. Psalms 34:18; Isaiah 25:8 NWT.
