Bess Marie Bentler

Bess Marie Bentler, 83, of Springfield, died at 6:59 pm, Sunday, July 20, 2014 at St. John’s Hospital.
She was born December 14, 1930 to Mose’ and Edna Toigo. She married Charles (Fritz) Bentler on May 20, 1973. Together they owned and operated Bentler Amusement Company.

Bess was a member of Christ the King Parish and a lifelong member of Zeta Service Organization.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, William A. Toigo.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Esther Toigo; 12 nieces and nephews; 39 grand nieces and nephews and 45 great grand nieces and nephews; a stepdaughter, Rhonda; two stepsons, Russell and Raymond Bentler and four step grandchildren also survive. She was precious to all and will be missed always.

Memorial Gathering: 10-11 am, Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Christ The King Church, 1930 Barberry Drive, Springfield, IL.

Memorial Mass: 11 am, Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Christ the King Church with Reverend Joseph Ring and
Deacon Al Laabs officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
