“Barney” Mitchell C. Burneson, 62, of Williamsville, died at 10:12 pm Monday, June 17, 2013 at St. John’s Hospice. He was born September 19, 1950 in Springfield, IL to Ralph C. and Ida Miller Burneson. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joe.
Surviving are two sisters, Vicki (John, Jr.) Bryant of Sherman, Bernie (Cory) Eigenmann of Williamsville; two brothers, David Burneson of Sherman and Scot (Barb) Burneson of Williamsville; two aunts, Joyce Erlene West of Monticello, KY and Mamie Casher of Springfield and several nieces, nephews, cousins and his many good friends at the Double H in Sherman.
Barney was a sheet metal worker for Union Local #218.
Memorial Gathering: 3 – 5 pm Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home.
Memorial Service: 5:00 pm Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Beals officiating.

Barney was always good to me. Never acted better than anyone and didn't try to bully anyone. I am sorry to see him go so young. He will be missed. Lord must of needed another gardener .
