Barbara L. Todd

Barbara L. Todd, 84, of Springfield died at 1:18 pm, Saturday, January 28, 2017 at St. John’s Hospice. She was born August 1, 1932 in Springfield, IL to Robert and Dorlis McKinnon White. She married James Raymond Todd, Jr. in 1953 and he preceded her in death on November 18, 2016. Also preceding her in death were her parents.

She is survived by three sons, J. Robert “Bob” (Elizabeth) Todd of Springfield, Steven (Liane) Todd of Petersburg and David (Jenny) Todd of Oxford, MI; three grandchildren, Jennifer Smith, James and Kendall Todd and one great granddaughter, Evelyn Smith.

She was a member of St. Aloysius Church. She retired from St. John’s Hospital Business office after 25 years of service. Barbara was a devoted wife and mother and liked to play Bunco.

Visitation: 4 – 7 pm, Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at Staab Funeral Home-Springfield.

Funeral Service: 11 am, Thursday, February 2, 2017, at Staab Funeral Home-Springfield with Reverend Clinton Honkomp, O.P. officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
