Barbara G Ashbaker

Barbara Ashbaker, 76, of Dawson, died at 9:05 am, Sunday, April 30, 2017 at her home. She was born July 13, 1940 in Springfield, to Robert and Grace Patton Adams. She married James “Jim” Ashbaker on February 28, 1964 and he survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Rebecca (James) Kissel of New Orleans, LA, Jami (Robert) Sponsler and Janet Prytherch both of Dawson; five grandchildren, Rebekka (Wyatt) Leber, Amanda Sponsler (Jake Robertson), Frank Prytherch, Jr., Zach Kissel and Joshua Kissel; one sister, Sandy (Fritz) Conwill of Medesto and Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, Frank Prytherch, Sr.

Barbara was a resident of Springfield most of her life and was a homemaker.
