SPRINGFIELD – Armand Pat Falzone, 94, of Springfield died at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at Capitol Care Center. He was born Jan. 9, 1914, in Springfield, the son of Paul and Concetta Sodora Falzone. He
married Lucille Fazi in 1934; she preceded him in death in 2005.
He was also preceded in death by four sisters, Mary, Josephine, Rosemary and Viola, and two brothers, Louis and Charlie.
He is survived by a son, Richard P. (wife, Mary) Falzone of Glenarm; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was a lifelong resident of Springfield. He was a self-employed barber for 70 years. He also worked for the State of Illinois for 22 years in the Secretary of State title department.
He was a member of St. Cabrini Church, The Elks Lodge 158 and American Radio Relay League.
Visitation will be held from 10 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at St. Cabrini, followed by funeral services beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the church, with the Rev. Richard Chiola officiating.
Entombment will be held at Oak Ridge Chapel Mausoleum.
Memorials may be made to the Animal Protective League.
