I was shocked to hear of Alice's passing tonight ( June 29th). My mother called to give me the news. I was just in town a couple of weeks ago and commented as I was preparing to leave that I hadn't talked with Alice - I always looked forward to saying hello to her when I was home on my visits. Alice was a great friend to my mother, always calling and sharing conversation with her. I think they shared phone calls for about 60 years. That's quite a record. I will miss that " hello Janie - how ya doing?" the latest updates on the family and some of her views on current affairs. God Bless you Alice! My condolences to Bill and all the family.
