Marjorie J. Mileham, 81, of Springfield, died at 10:45 pm, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at St. John’s Hospice. She was born January 18, 1935 in Lincoln, to Raymond and Mildred Reichle Purviance. She married Joseph R. Mileham on September 3, 1952, and he survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Christine (Bill) Schnake of Springfield; two sons, Steven and Thomas Mileham both of Springfield; five grandchildren, Melissa and Michelle Mileham, Ashley Bentley, Laura Reynolds and Jessica Straussner; three great grandchildren, Aiden, Cody and Audrey; one sister Laurel (Roy) Baker of Morton; one brother, Richard (Lois) Purviance of Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harry and Robert Purviance and one sister, Clara Larkin.
Marjorie loved to garden, sew, and spend time with her grandchildren.
She had worked for Franklin Life Insurance Company and with her husband at B&J Coin Shop and was a homemaker.
Visitation: 4-7 pm, Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 10:30 am, Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Staab Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Christell, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
